Edward James “Jim” Gress began the family business in the 1940s [at the ripe age of 17] as a poultry distributor in Scranton, Pa. What started as transportation of poultry, formed into a processing plant and eventually worldwide distribution of the poultry goods by 1980.
By the late 90s, the company fully transitioned into the cold chain storage and transportation space. They started building additional warehousing space and adopting their own fleet of refrigerated trucks which is how they’ve been known today.
